The 7-Eleven convenience store chain now sells it’s own brand of wine.  Here’s a link to the official press release.  Not covered in the press release is whether you are supposed to have the Cabernet Sauvignon or the Chardonnay with Nachos and a Corn Dog.  Plus, are they going to do wine Slurpees?  The name of the wine is “Yosemite Road”.  Hmm, I’ve seen a few guys who look like Yosemite Sam drinking wine in a paper sack at a convenience store.  Maybe that’s their target consumer.

After reading a recent story about Whoopi Goldberg slamming Kate Gosselin over a custody dispute I had to re-cycle these two jokes I wrote and posted on Twitter:

This NY Times article talks about how MTV wants YouTube to take down the Kanye West Taylor Swift Incident from YouTube.  My favorite quote from the article is:

But MTV’s parent company Viacom — which is embroiled in a long-running $1 billion lawsuit with YouTube — engaged in a game of media whack-a-mole, flagging illicit copies of the videos almost as soon as they appeared.

I liked the “whack-a-mole” quote…but I would suggest a “whack-a-Kanye” solution!
